Frequently Asked Questions

How long does AGAT last?

20+ years with minimal maintenance. Our oldest installations (20+ years) show no significant degradation. Compare that to natural grass (constant maintenance) or concrete (cracking after 10-15 years).

Is AGAT approved by aviation authorities?

Yes. AGAT is FAA compliant and has been approved by FAA, CAA UK, ICAO and multiple NATO facilities. We provide all compliance documentation for your procurement team.

What's the installation timeline?

Most helipad installations: 3-5 days. Landing strips: 2-4 weeks depending on size. Compare that to concrete (months of curing) or grass (growing season required).

Can AGAT handle extreme temperatures?

Absolutely. Proven operational from -50°C to +60°C. Our Greenland installations face Arctic winters, and our Abu Dhabi installation handles desert heat. If it works there, it works anywhere.

What maintenance does AGAT require?

Minimal. Visual FOD inspections (you're doing these anyway), occasional brushing to keep pile upright, and periodic cleaning. No mowing, no watering, no herbicides, no resurfacing.
